'37 120 Whiskers

I am in the process of installing the door glass and whiskers/glass scrape whiskers/window sweeps on my 37 120 sedan convertible and need to know if the outer glass whiskers are bent 90 degrees on the ends (~1") or are they only straight with no whiskers on the ends? My whiskers will not make the bend without the SS metal edge breaking.

My car did not have any whiskers remaining.
