EDIT: I got it! Figured out the right orientation of the gasket and the “method” to work a small screwdriver around while installing. Went on well and makes a good seal with the lens being snug but not overly tight.
This may seem very basic, but I could use some help with the installation of my tail light lenses.
As expected, without the gasket, the lens is very loose in the bezel if installed.
I need some help with how that gasket should be installed. Every way that I have tried results in the bezel and lens being too tight to install on the bucket.
I believe I have the correct gasket. This is what I bought…
Tail light gasket What am I missing? Seems simple…lens in bezel, gasket in, top of bezel hooks on tab at top of bucket, screw in the bottom. I’m missing something.
