It may have worn/sticky rings. When it sits some oil leaks into the cylinders and burns off when started. Then it goes away.

My '54 would crop dust the neighbor when first started. A long distance drive at freeway speeds with 2 qts of Lucas oil stabilizer freed up those sticky rings and the problem went away.

But I still have minor blowby.
