Mal: you can rest easy tonight - TW). It was a thrill to drive on my birthday. Especially when the car hesitated and stalled on the upside of a very steep hill in rush hour traffic, which is when I discovered the emergency brake isn't adjusted quite well enough to keep the call from rolling. Fortunately, the fine help from my personal Packard Paddock minion (we-aim-to-serve, ask-your-supervisor Tom) I learned about the throttle knob. Restarted the car while keeping one foot on the brake pedal and applying the queen's wave to passing cars, we got it started and headed home. Yippee!
