First, you're correct that the car you refer to in Kime's book is a 640 custom runabout.
Second, you're incorrect in thinking it's the same type of car as the silly-looking roadster that's been brought to this thread. That silly-looking roadster is a 1930 Model 740.
Third, I was identifying the car in the original post, which is a 640 seven-passenger touring. The seven-passenger tourings are identified by those carriage-type door handles.
