The "nesting box" on the right hand windshield pillar (where a spot lite is usualy mounted) appears to be a gun barrel with a rectangular lite mounted on the barell. Kind of odd. But i guess it might be needed for long trips thru the dessert to shoot at aggressive wildlife.
Altho i don't think there were any rectangular lens lites of any type prior to the mid 1960's.
