I don't think you'll have any success contacting K-D, I tried that route about a year ago when the pilot shaft on my original K-D broke off, it's been NLA for many years. But simple enough to make one, yourself if you have a lathe or any machine shop should be able to make one in a half-hour. I've made several. Just mild steel is required. There are only a couple of dimensions that are important, the diameter of pilot that goes into the guide should be the same diameter as the valve stem and the diameter and width of the shoulder that contacts the top surface of the guide should be just slightly less than the OD of the guide so it can follow down into the guide bore. After that it's just personal preference. Dimensions and perhaps a couple of pictures available if you need them.
