Here's a couple of drifts I've used. The larger black one with the broken pilot shaft is the K-D which incidently isn't specific to Packard but was suitable for many other makes of flat-head engines with removeable guides. You really need it's larger mass for removing guides. Though it can also be used for installing new guides I prefer the smaller and lighter ones as you can be a bit more precise with them, especially if you chill the new guides before installing. It's no fun to drive one in too far and have to back it out.

On the K-D, the pilot is 0.340" x 1-1/2 inches, length not critical. The second section is sized to fit within the guide bore, OD 0.555" x 2" length. Upper section to suit.
