As I am relatively new here to the PI site you guys may have already seen this stuff. but it is the first time I have seen many of these photos and I think it is very cool.
Actually, it is a web site dedicated to many vintage cars, see:
http://theoldmotor.com/ But, there is a search bar that allows you to enter a search term and I put in PACKARD and got this link:
http://theoldmotor.com/?s=packard I had never seen the Packard called the Thompson Special, aka the Glasscock Speedster.
Go to the 2nd page of photos and about the middle of the page you can click onto a video clip that shows the "Grey Wolf" racing during the first (1904) Vanderbilt Cup Race.
