Do rite hand drive vehicles have rite foot accelerator pedal or left foot???? I've had some rite hand drive US postal vehicles in the past but can't remeber.
Also Notice what appears to be a rather shade tree wire hanging from the spot lite control.

Would that be a very early war effort car with the chrome on the dash??? Spot lite is not chrome.

As for the Sgt worried about any rank change i doubt it. He was probably more worried about keeping access to the steaks and ground beef handed to him out the back door of the Gen's quarters instead going back to rations.
