woulda been nice if packard was more specific on the description of the part....

when i measured the bottom pad...it was close to 3/4" so i'm gonna say it was probably 3/4 before being compressed....i'm pretty sure its the pad with the lip....but who the heck knows if it was replaced at some point with the wrong part.

the top pad as in the pics....measured 3/8" the bottom was 5/8"

here is the original steele part for the top one that i measured as 3/8". steele has it as 1/2" seems resonable that new and uncompressed for 50 years that it would have been 1/2" oringally.

what did everyone else use during restoration?
