Lowes, which is 1 mile from my house, only carries 16g and 22g. go figure.

22g was what I ended up with. it seemed about as thick as what the floor is now and it is much easier to manipulate. this is the same gauge I used on the front of the rocker when I had to form that curve. worked fine.

when I push my weight on the patch on the floor it is much much stronger then the stuff that was there before and still stiffer then the driver's side.

plus the 16gauge broke my brand new air shears and I had to exchange it...shhh don't tell harbor freight I used 16g to cut with. lol. I thought I would give it a shot....but no...busted the middle sheer right off.

I got a 24x24 piece of 22g for 19 something...I think this was it. http://www.lowes.com/pd_168747-37672-11776_0__?productId=3051813&Ntt=22ga+sheet+metal+24-in&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNtt%3D22ga%2Bsheet%2Bmetal%2B24-in&facetInfo=

also I do not envy what you have to do on your car...you win for bravest...cause what I've done so far...sucked.
