One of the first things I started to tackle was electrics. Both backing up lights did not work and one appeared to be very rusty.
I tried to open it, but couldn't. With a carpet cutter I managed to cut through a thick layer of silicone.
Someone has been very clever replacing the W-clips with silicone.
After some cleaning and bending new W-clips from stainless steel welding rods and a new piece of harness I could install it again, now in working order.
Next step will be installing and connecting the back up lighting switch.
