This last video was most informative. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make and post them. You are doing a real service to the folks who visit this site.

I agree, excellent time to pack the rear axle bearings. And while there I recommend you replace the inner oil seals too. They can sometimes difficult to remove, but it is worth the extra work to have new inner and outer seals and well packed bearings. Safety and peace of mind.

Here are the brake tools I use.

The short one with the black plastic handle is for removing and installing the cup retainers that go over the short shoe retaining springs.

A two sided brake spoon for adjusting the star wheel.

The long one is used for removing and installing the primary and secondary springs. One end is for placing under a spring and rolling it off of the anchor pin. The other end is for installing the springs on the pin. A notch grabs the anchor pin and the spring is slid over. Easy as pie.
