I think your decision to install a dual or tandem non-boosted brake master cylinder in place of the BTV unit is an excellent one. Yes, you will lose power brakes, but my experience is that standard master cylinders work just fine and there is more pedal modulation. I had the BTV removed from my 55 Clipper Super and had a standard single Packard MC installed. It provided good braking, but only had the one chamber. Yours will be better, and safer. Plese keep us informed.
