Well, it has been an eventful weekend. First, my son and I headed down to Reading, PA, for the PAC National meet car show. Tons of beautiful cars, only took a few pictures. Met a couple of friends I had only spoken to online and made a few more too. My son had a good time, and I had an iPad for when he got tired of looking at cars before I did.
Couple of highlights- watching a 1910 roadster giving rides, the 734 boat tail speedster, and seeing a car exactly like mine but fully restored. The owner came home from the hospital in the car! His father bought it brand new. He had it restored a few years ago. Plus got to meet PackardInfo members Flackmaster and OwenDyneto in person.
Still waiting for tools to remove the back of my water distribution tube, but I fixed the #1 connecting rod nuts (thanks for the parts Convert), put the oil pan on, and started cleaning up and painting accessories.
I am planning on installing a '38 exhaust manifold. It looks like I will not need the two outermost exhaust manifold studs- any insight on that?
