Well I have been busier than a one-armed paper hanger, so I have not had much garage time. But I got a few things done today.
I had no luck finding the correct seals that go between the front spindle and the backing plates, so I made my own out of bulk gasket sheet. I also got all the bolts and various hardware for the backing plates media blasted and painted.
On a lighter note, while I was out in the garage I noticed that the old car calendar I had on the wall was still on November, so I flipped it to December and low and behold, a nice '54 Packard for Christmas!
Also we get these discount cards in the mail every so often for a local Mexican resturant for our birthdays and anniversary and things like that. I guess the last time my wife and kids went there, for a joke they filled out the birthday club card. This is the card that arrived. Look at the name on the address.
