That is disappointing. Looks like we are back to high price used or high price repro.

Just my but I would be wary on the 1/8". A wet gasket and pressured system and that small amount of contact sounds like a prime place for a blow out.

Wonder how that old piece would stand up to having a small length of exhaust tubing welded or brazed onto the flange or maybe over or inside a portion of the existing tube as is done when repairing the trans coolers.
