Hi all,
I would like to share with you my new Packard restoration project: a
1942 Packard 20th series One-Eighty Super Eight Custom Touring Limo.
I found the car four years ago, sharing garage with a 1953 Mercedes Benz 300 C Adenauer, that now is restored.
The car is a 1550 model (see
Car ID number). Stamped of firewall the number is <707I35>.
The engine is ready and fitted in the chassis (see
closing the super eight engine). The date of the engine is *1 8 47* and I haven't found the engine number.
The car was found in average condition, without rust (see
body when found). Many parts are lost, so I will need to do a good job if I want to finish the car. The car is painted in maroon (Cavalier Maroon).
I will take some photos of the car at this moment and I'll place them here. Regards.
