happy to report the front end of the car is now all bolted back on.

also happy to report that I'm glad HH mentioned those head stud nuts and torqueing them again after heat cycles. I checked every nut and bolt on the motor and you would think I didn't tighten them to begin with. crazy. I tightened every one I could get to.

water neck was seeping coolant, tightened it. tighten, tighten, tighten all over the motor.

one of the freeze plugs is seeping as well....hopefully that will crud up on its own and seal. its the center one. not really sure how to fix that without popping it out, loosing tons of expensive evans coolant, and putting in a new one. so, we will see if more heat cycles will seal it on its own. I have seen that happen on other cars I've had.

I can tell you my paint job on the motor has taken a hell of a beating and some touch up will be required once I get all this figured out.

carb may need to be sent out for rebuild as well. all in due time.

I really need to stop being such a perfectionist and so hard on myself. I keep loosing focus of the fact that I'm going to actually use this car quite a bit and it's never going to be perfect.
