Thanks, Todd. I'll make a modified 1/2" wrench.

THROTTLE GUARD The TG (dashpot) and bracket arrived from the flackmaster, had a little surface corrosion, so I cleaned it up.

Howard HH56 gave me one a few years ago that looks like the one in the 1940 manual, but at the time I thought it was too big, the Stromberg was giving me problems and I had given up on it, and the bracket was for another engine or year, plus the diaphragm was shot. But after this new one arrived with the enclosed top, I think either could be used. The probosces are the same length. So, another little project for another day.

CARB: Back from Daytona Parts and all sealed up, ready for John to install with the TG bracket and fuel filter, after we have the Duchess back from the drive train shop.

REAR-END: Anticipating a box of parts from the flackmaster today to repair the carrier, axles, drive line. This was a rescue mission on his part Friday night to find everything and have it shipped in the morning, as he was leaving for MI. The shop could possibly fill in some parts, I had some surplus parts that might be usable, and NAPA had a few items. So we'll know today if we have everything needed to put the ambulance rear-end in top condition for the trip(s).
