I finally managed to find time to tackle the broken bolts in my engine block that hold the water jacket cover in place. Achieved 4 out of the 6, leaving 2 to do. Carefully drilled out the broken bolts, starting with a tiny centre drill, then a sequence of increasing drill sizes to create an oversized hole, using cutting fluid to aid the process. Tapped the hole and installed the inserts as directed on the pack. The remaining 2 might be slightly trickier because they are in blind holes. Looking forward to finishing the job, hopefully next weekend.
