Too many Ultramatics to build.....at least they pay well.

Have been hacking at this thing in odd moments and finally have the top mechanism worked out--which I forgot to photograph. That gave opportunity to close the side of the car. A 54 Clipper doorskin was cut and the pieces juxtaposed to deal with the sectioning of the car. A filler panel was needed to compose the wheel well, and an old fender top finished the bottom of the quarter panel.

For giggles and motivation I worked up some of jewelry that will be needed in the distant future and stuck it on the side of the car with some strong magnets. One 99 cent spray bomb made everything the same color for viewing. Pretty pleased with the effect and will make a rear stone guard as soon as I pick up some stainless. Still need to tidy up the rear inner fender.
