I do believe he forked over the cash for some of them though. I found some stapled together in the service manual I have.

30 cents a page back in march of 1967, he acquired 6 pages
then in May 1967 another 68 pages from the 1956 supplement to the regular 55 service manual. a fair bit of money back in those days, that doesn't even take into account the monetary exchange of that time.

A fellow by the name of Arthur Rasmussen of the Packard Automobile Classics Tec. committee sent them it looks like
