Hope this helps a bit? In photo number five, you will notice the head of a machine screw. I separated the flange that goes over the exhaust pipe on that one area only, when I undo the machine screw and nut it allows just enough twist of the splash pan bracket to allow removal and installation of the passenger side pan without having to undo exhaust pipe.
