Heard a weird noise a couple of times going over a bump (significant clunk). Front end driver's side. I lifted the car up and checked underneath....didn't see anything obvious besides my sway bar bushings are shot and I'm missing the compression bumper on the driver's lower arm.

What I did see, however, is that apparently my driver's front wheel cylinder is leaking. It's brand new from Napa. It probably has less than 250 miles on it, so I was very surprised to see this.

I don't think it's the hose connection, but maybe it is? I tightened it more just in case.

Any idea of what could cause a wheel cylinder to fail so fast? Or did I just fail to tighten the hose properly? I want to get this fixed before taking it back on the road.
