Well it's been a while since I did an update.
So. Long story shortened.
I ended up with a faulty "reman distributor"
Found after many checks on everything but the distributor.
In the process I warped the head and the grandson assisted in the removal for reworking.
The chrome shop sent the front bumper to another customer. The lost my center bumper guard,
I found a usable core guard at David Moe's summer garage sale. Along with a wiper motor and Reman fuel pump.
Also had the speedometer start squealing
during a test drive so had that serviced.

Also added a couple of still shots.
Hopefully not upside down. ;)
