i am about to repaint this number on the side of the frame. anyone care to guess the date. is it 3/1/55 or 3/4/55. i can't really tell. and also is that a dash mark between the 4 and 12 on the other number or is it a faded 4?

when Michael Franko was over his book described a yellow and a green strip on the main torsion bars, but mine was blue and green. ever seen that?

one final question. was this painted on the frame before or after the black chassis paint by the factory.
