On another subject. Sometimes my glove box lock with not unlock with the key, I have to jiggle the key, and then finally, it will turn. So I think he didn't get it exactly right when the locksmith worked on making a key for it.
So I want to pull the lock cylinder out of it and file down any tumblers that may be off.
While I have gotten pretty adept and pulling the cylinders out of the door handles using a paper clip. I haven't been able to figure out what the magic is on this glovebox lock to release the cylinder.
Any ideas?
There is a slot on the side that I've tried to use a paper clip and small screwdriver on with no luck. The hole in the back is for the retainer screw.
