You guys are getting ahead of me. I can't explain it all in a single post and still have it make sense.

Yes, I have an adapter for the shafts between the motor and the regulator. The difference is that mine is store-bought not homemade.

All that may be irrelevant now because, like an idiot, I started writing about it before I put the glass in the door. The motor does not appear to be able to handle the weight of the glass.

I have a pair of original motors that work. I was just trying to avoid putting 70-year-old motors in the doors where they are hard to access.

Trying to decide on a way forward at this point.
