The basic cradle mount looks very much like the Clipper cradle and there is nothing rubber other than the rubber insulating shims that surround the bolt in the middle touching the crossmember on those cradles . Clippers do have extra diagonal pieces to the frame which have rubber donuts at each end that I don't see on earlier models so if there is a hole and room for some push in bumpers to help stabilize, it probably would not hurt -- depending on whether you can find the right thickness after the cradle height is determined.

The thickness of the center shim/washers do control fender gap at the cowl and there are a couple of thicknesses -- 3/16 and 1/4 -- listed. Specs are in the utility section. Quantity is X so depends on cradle height needed. Clippers also had steel slip in shims used in combination with the rubber washers but don't see any metal other than the washer next to the nut called for on the 115.
