I have been evaluating an anti-freeze leak. It is not a big drip, but enough for the pan to catch. I think i have narrowed it down to the Mounting Block, and thinking the rubber has come to a point wear it is brittle enough to have a slow leak. I replaced the water pump last year, and if i was wiser, would have tackle it then but we live and learn!.

Is this a common point for a leak? I have checked around the other points and have not seen anything. It is "wet" on the underside of the mount, and the inside, where the 2 bolts hold it on.

Should I replace just the rubber mounts? or the mounting plate as well? Do I add sealer as i would with a gasket?

Don gave me nice instructions on how to go about it, but tossing it out there for other thoughts and guidance.

Thanks!
Ben
