I ran a second ground for the sending unit, and no luck. So I went back to the beginning and wanted to confirm power flow.

1. I started at the sending unit, and did not get a hot read. So went to the source.
2. I have a hot read going into the gauge from the wire connecting the ignition switch to the gas gauge.
3. But i did not get a hot read on the driver side where the wire goes to the sending unit?

I am fairly certain i got a hot read at some point when i was testing the harness, but can't be 100% certain. What I do know is that the gauge did work prior to starting the preservation effort.

Is this leading me to think that my gauge has decided to stop working similar to my solenoid? Or should I not get a hot read there?

Thoughts appreciated!
