Good couple of days since Randy was here...

The gaskets for the engine oil pan and tranny oil pan came in from http://ultramaticdynamics.com/, which I bought off of eBay, as did the paint from Tower Paint. The paint, however, was the dark green from the two tone paint scheme, and I wanted the light green. I painted the firewall the dark green for now, and when I do a full body off restoration in a couple of years paint it the correct color.

I cleaned up the water distribution tube, and removed the small dent in the middle (caused by a previous rebuild, in perfect alignment between two cylinders from someone shoving a tool through the middle freeze plug).

I also put a couple of coats of 500 degree Dupli-Color rattle can paint labled "Ford New Gray DE1611". I know it isn't exactly the gray from Packard, but it's closer than before.

Then and Now sent me a new diaphragm for the vacuum side of my AC fuel pump, the original one they sent didn't have the correct number of holes.

I'm also working on the parking / emergency brake system. The handle, pivot/locking mechanism, and lever all work fine. The cables between the wheels and the frame are seized, so I'm going to try and remove them, soak em in kerosene and see if I can save them.

$2200 and still spending.
