i emailed Max today, we'll see what they say.
in the mean time i will take off the new one and but back the old one to see how much differenece there is in them not installed and when installed. then there are pics of my original bushing installed after those.
i also found a fellow on eBay selling NOS with the bushing installed already....here are the pictures he was nice enough to send me. looks like i installed it in the right spot....so has to be a bushing issue.
