Originally, I was going to remove the steering parts and clean them up separately. That seems like a lot of work for little benefit, so I decided to keep it in the car. Problem is...now I have to degrease it! I did the best I could to protect the freshly painted engine from spraying gunk, but I got some on the bottom of the engine. Cleaned up pretty well with a couple of sprays of degreaser and a nylon brush the size of a toothbrush. Noticed some of the paint came off in spots after cleaning. I guess those were not clean enough when I painted. I will have to go back and touch those up before reassembly.
