Although the new baby is gonna occupy a lot of your time, I'm sure you'll get an afternoon off once in a while to do some work on the old girl.

Even if it's just some exploratory work, you'll be amaed at how much you can learn form that, and - in spite of some occasional frustration - there's a lot of satisfaction to be gained from doing it yourself. Also, there's nothing wrong with spending a few moments with your nose buried in a manual when you can't be in the garage.
