okay, update.
i checked all the other pistons and 4 out of the 8 are good to go. i used my NOS standard pins as they were in a bit better shape. those pistons, two on each side are good to go.
sending back 4 rods/pins to Jack soon. thanks again Jack!
so i guess you could say i have one of those new hybrid type cars that turn off some of the cylinders when you don't need them, only mine is permanent LOL!
yes i have not installed them all the way. gotta take my pin clips off the old pistons first, i just set them in there for now.
