Hey guys!

I am messing around with the radio in my car and I have some questions about it. Now, I don't plan on getting it to work with AM radio but, can I get it to work with an input cable/speaker wire by bypassing the AM output so the volume control on the radio still works? If yes, how so? That way things like phones, iPods, etc. can be plugged into it by way of a cable with a headphone jack. I tested the speaker by using some speaker wire connected to an audio cable which was plugged into a tablet. The speaker produces sound but, it isn't very loud. It needs help from what ever amplifier the radio is equipped with. And a side note: When connected to power, only the light within the radio comes on.
