I've seen that riser on eBay. Just waiting to see if I actually need one or not. Max's has them for $125 no idea on shipping.

I would not mind having a non-functioning valve. I just fixed the pin because I could. I'm in Ky and no plans to drive in cold weather. (Just hopping to drive it someday)

However, I do not want leave the part off the car. Without it the pipe would be closer to the steering cylinder and hoses.

My concern now is with that lip on the upper side of the riser. There is little left of mine.

When I google "exhaust manifold spacer" I find there are several muscle cars that used plane spacer. One for a 69-70 Mustang is below. I cannot find a measurement and there is no lip on it.

I wonder, since the riser does not have any true bolt holes, if the lip and flange are needed on a spacer like below?
