The firewall pad from QuietRide also showed up today. I’m not happy.
Their online catalog shows one for AC cars and one for non-AC cars but when you go to make a purchase it only offers you one pad. That pad “appears” to have “pop-out” sections for AC cars so it can be used for both.
I should have called them but I have a feeling I would have got the wrong answer anyway. The pad I received was for an AC car and is missing at least one rather large opening for the right side vent. Nothing “pops-out” and I have to cut the insulation myself.
So tell me, how screwed am I? Can this be made usable for my 400?
You should know by now that I am not a perfectionist. I don’t mind small extra holes. I could cut that larger one myself. Will it work other than that?
