Pulled my 2 gauge clusters off the shelf today. The one in the rear is the original. It has 72,000 miles. The other I bought a couple years ago has 71,000 on it. The speed-o-meter needle is broken on my original.

The date stamp is visible on the replacement cluster (pic 2). I am pretty sure it says JAN 13 1955.

Is there anything needing updated on these clusters? I am seeing capacitors or something the back.

Also should I install the cluster into the dash now or after the wiring harness is installed and everything wired up?
