I finally laid some paint down this week.
I started with the hood and it came out better than I expected the first time. It's not bad for having youtube over-confidence.
I was hoping to avoid buffing but there is just too much dust in my shop. Will need to wet sand and buff it out. The trunk is next, then the fenders to practice the two-tone. Then I will move to the roof and then the rest of the body.
