Received a new package from Restoration Specialties today. I sent the wrong parts back to them along with a sample of the original parts. The photo below shows the part number. I will probably have to order more before I am done so I want the part numbers right here where I can find them.
I have been avoiding installing the locking cord on the rear windshield for a few weeks. I watched several youtube videos and even ordered a special tool for locking cords.
Complete waste of money. All I needed was dish soap. Apply it to the cord about a foot at a time and just push the cord in with my hands. I stopped halfway around but it only took me about 10 minutes. It was a little tight in a few places and I had to use something to open it up a little but it was nowhere near as hard as I made it out to be. I should have it done tomororow.
