Still working on the heater plenum. Something has me confused. Image1 below shows the cleaned-up interior Yes, I primed the interior. It was mold, moisture and mouse stained so why not. In image2 I have laid the original back side where it belongs. I am concerned about the opening of the floor vent (red line). I don’t know what those three metal connectors (circled) are for. The vent hole does not reach all the to them. Nothing is missing from that area of the backside. So, what was the purpose of image3.
I am not going to lose any sleep over them. I won’t be driving in the cold so much that the heater will affect the experience.
