I started the install one of the new vent window seals today.
You see those 2 small nuts in the first image. They are 11/32. I am not sure I have ever owned an 11/32 wrench. If I have it has been lost for a long time.
The main (u-shaped) seal was not much problem. The old one came out easily enough and the new one went in with the help of some liquid dish soap. That flat seal that is installed with rivets is a different matter. Now I am researching tubular rivets. What I removed is .110 in diameter but no one seems to make them that small anymore. There are a couple that size but they are either way too long or the heads are too large. I am trying not to overthink this I can easily enlarge the holes in the frame and seal and just use slightly larger rivets. It is just another delay waiting for parts to arrive.
