Thank you for that info. That was a good guess on my part as I found one piece in the attic of my shop and the other piece on a shelf. They should have been taped together long ago.
It was no problem to mount it on the car and that in itself is surprising. I had to replace all the sheet metal in that area and somehow it fits perfectly.
Also got one of the window frame pieces Those fuzzies on the stainless front door window flap is going to be fun to remove. I can see at least 4 crimps on top and bottom (and rust along the whole length). I'll try to do as little damage as possible.
