At least for 1956, Clipper (and by extension the Packard Executive) used Autolite which mounted differently than the Delco-Remy used in the other models of Packard. I can’t speak specifically for 1955 but I expect there were similar differences due to the different bolt pattern between them and their overall size with Autolite being a little smaller. The regulator in the photo that Howard posted, though, doesn’t look like either one to be but it has the Delco-Remy mounting.
