She is up and running, licensed and insured. Had to turn the house inside out to find the title as I had put it someplace "safe". Ugh.

Seems a very strong performer and leaps nicely off the line. It has a great mellow burble under load. Had some shifting problems with the Ultra but a little adjusting and use put it to rights. Somehow it had gotten sticky sitting for almost a dozen years.....

Have cut the short leaf off each rear spring to bring the back down a hair since these photos were taken. The car is many hundred pounds lighter than the original sedan it was made from.

Many shelves and hidey holes have been cleared out as squirreled-away treasures have finally made it to the car. Check out my cool "GPS" in the center of the dash and the gold tint day/night mirror. I'm told this was an upgrade from the regular day/night and seems to further reduce glare.

Am now busy putting the interior in. The headliner turned into a nightmare and I will have to do it over sometime when I'm in a better mood. Just got the numbers today; they will go on last.

Included also is a before picture, circa 1999. I think I gave $300 for it--and that was too much.
