Dave, you are correct. I guess they got tired of the re-work required when someone connected an old dirty tank to a new carb, and it was hurting their bottom line.

Any reccomendations for who to have do the work? I want to ensure that the shafts are re-bushed. Slop in the main shaft is the primary reason I am going after a rebuild.
